Floral designer Peyton Wells is renowned for her passion, creativity, innate artistry and impeccable design sense; a Richmond VA favorite. Peyton’s award winning creations show an assortment of artistic styles and techniques that are inspired from shapes, colors and textures found in architecture, natural plant materials, sculpture, jewelry and art. Her creations routinely dazzle her clientele, which brings clients back project after project.
Over the last decade, she has honed her skill and style in the luxury floral industry by learning from design professionals across the country. She has amassed a broad range of experience as a talented floral designer, accomplished special events coordinator & creative botanical artist.
Peyton possesses a unique vision and ability that enables her to create distinctive eye catching one of a kind arrangements for any occasion. They are routinely recognized by professionals and sought after by brides. She places emphasis on the natural architectural beauty of each flower, stem and leaf. With an eye for detail and an exquisite sense of design, Peyton continually explores the possibilities of color, texture and rhythm for a look that is dynamic, elegant and fresh. Many of her past clients have indicated that they engaged her services over those of other designers due to her commitment to quality, creativity and collaboration.
Signature works include large floral installations at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens annual ‘Splendor Under Glass’ Galas. She was the Gala Chair three years, the Gala’s Floral Chairman for five years, and serves on that organization’s Board of Directors as an executive chairperson.
Many of her other designs can be found in some of Richmond’s premier wedding and special event venues. Peyton will make your celebration shine and bring your vision to life, whether you engage her to use your concept or simply provide her the artistic flexibility to create another unimaginable work of art.
Peyton is a Richmond native, a member of The Garden Club of America and its National Judging Program, The Garden Club of Virginia, and is the current club president for The Tuckahoe Garden Club of Westhampton. She studied art at the Atlanta College of Art and has spent much of her career as an artist.
